ThenIMA Electronic Media was founded in 1996, under the umbrella of the IMA Group, to explore the commercial opportunities presented by the emergence of the Internet. In the early years, our work was predominantly based in establishing an online presence for the agency's marketing and advertising clients, in addition to a range of offline presentation, communication and data management services.
As web technologies have developed, so has the sophistication of our websites, intranets and extranets, most significantly with the introduction of interactive commercial applications and the integration of data platforms to deliver tangible business benefits.
As new members have been added to the Electronic Media team we have been able to inject new skills and specialist services to our portfolio. At the same time, our agency origins mean that we never forget why our clients pay for our services - to communicate, to promote, to sell, to support and develop their business.

Now14 years down the track, we are still proud to be working alongside the advertising and marketing specialists within the IMA Group, and we continue to service the online requirements of the agency's clients. In the meantime we've also built an independent portfolio of clients for our website design services and, increasingly, intranet and extranet solutions.
The strength of our database expertise has taken us into new and exciting areas, including the design of dedicated call centre and stock management systems, bespoke CMS and e-commerce solutions, and cross-platform projects involving software development for field-based data collection and wireless synchronisation with complementary online reporting interfaces.
We have a reputation for flexibility, speed of response and a commitment to delivering the right solution for the requirements that we are presented with - whatever that entails. If an organisation is defined by its products and services then we are pleased to engage our clients as accomplished developers of web, database and software solutions. However, we are still a service agency at heart and we aim to combine our agency background with our technical expertise to provide clients with the very best that we can offer.

When it comes to predicting the future, even the most prolific businessmen and women can get it very wrong. In practice, our future is mapped by the requirements of our clients, so we don't feel compelled to gather round the crystal ball.
We're always looking at new methods and media - and we're keen to approach clients with new ideas and opportunities. Our intranet and extranet solutions already include content and features formatted specifically for mobile devices, and we see this becoming an increasingly fundamental aspect of data collection and delivery.
We also expect more clients to take full control of their websites and e-commerce operations through our unique database/CMS solutions.
